With over 14 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, helping them master English Literature and English Language. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the curriculum, and I am passionate about making English accessible and engaging for every student.
I have extensive experience in working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to succeed. My approach is focused on building confidence, providing clear guidance, and adapting to each child's unique learning style.
Additionally, my experience in marking exam papers for major exam boards has given me valuable insights into what examiners are looking for. This expertise enables me to equip my students with the strategies they need to excel in their exams, ensuring they are fully prepared for success.

Is the tutoring available for both English Language and English Literature?
Yes, we offer tutoring for both English Language and English Literature. Whether your child needs help analysing texts, improving their writing or preparing for the exam, our tutors provide support in both subjects to ensure comprehensive exam readiness.
Do you offer tuition for those in Key Stage 3?
Yes, we also have classes for those in year 7, year 8 or year 9. For those in Key Stage 3, we develop your child's foundation: reading, writing and communicating to prepare them for the rigours of Key Stage 4 study.
What days and times are your tutoring sessions?
Days and times vary but most are in the evenings to accommodate students and teachers attending school during the day. We also have some weekend availability.
How much does the tuition cost?
