Who is the Fundamentals of English Programme suitable for?
It’s designed for Year 11 students preparing for their GCSE exams — and Year 10 students who want to strengthen the core reading, writing and analysis skills that GCSE relies on. If your child feels unsure, lacks confidence, or has gaps from earlier years, this is where we begin.
Who should join the GCSE English Excellence Programme?
It’s built for Year 10 and Year 11 students working toward top grades in AQA GCSE English Language and Literature. It combines structured live teaching, examiner insight and a supportive learning environment.
Which programme is right for my child?

Are lessons taught live?
Yes. Every session is live and interactive, with real-time explanations, questions and feedback — never pre-recorded content sold as a course.
Are lessons recorded?
Yes. Every live lesson is recorded and added to your child’s learning library, so they can revisit any explanation, revision session or exam walkthrough whenever they need it.
Do you cover both English Language and Literature?
Yes. Our GCSE programme covers both English Language and English Literature comprehensively — including all set texts, unseen extracts, poetry and non-fiction writing.
Which exam board do you specialise in?
We specialise in AQA — the exam board most schools follow. As a current AQA examiner, Tash teaches exactly what markers are looking for, using authentic mark schemes and up-to-date assessment insight.
What topics are covered?
Lessons cover the full GCSE English Language and Literature curriculum: analytical reading, essay writing, creative writing, transactional writing, poetry, prose, drama and Shakespeare — all mapped to the AQA specification.
